- March 19-30, 2012: Early Voting for the Texas Primary Election
- March 27, 2012: Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail, must be received by this date.

You must be registered to vote 30 days prior to election day in order to participate
In Travis County, the responsibility of voter registration and election administration is separated between the Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office and the County Clerk’s office. The Travis County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office is responsible for all voter registration functions, which include maintenance of voter registration records, voter participation lists, and district maps.
